Cortland County Fatal Crash is Under Investigation

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a crash shortly after 12 a.m. April 4 that claimed the life of the driver.

Officials say a 2006 Subaru Forester left State Route 41 in Willet and hit a tree.

47 year old Gerald Notoli of Smithville Flats was the only occupant of the SUV.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
