Chenango County Census Takers Will Make $17 Per Hour

The U.S. Census Bureau has the help wanted sign out in Chenango County. The agency is hiring between 100 and 150 census takers for next year’s survey. An agency spokesperson says they are looking for those 18 years and older who are U.S. citizens and can pass a background check. Pay is $17 an hour and hours are flexible. The jobs will start next May.
