The American Legion Post 183 in Sidney is calling all riders to come out for the annual Benefits Run Saturday, July 28th. The ride will benefit Operation Comfort Warriors. The American Legion Riders and all participants will meet at the Sidney Veteran's Memorial at River Street and Route 8 where a map will be provided for the ride.

Blood Emergency Need

Friday, July 20th, Commerce Chenango will host a bus trip from Norwich to Binghamton to see the, ah hem, Rumble Ponies in action at NYSEG Stadium. They are, of course, the Double A affiliate of the New York Mets (Binghamton Mets sounded SO much better).

The American Red Cross has reissued an urgent call for blood and platelet donors after severe winter weather and seasonal flu has contributed to a spike in canceled donations.

Main Street Cooptoberfest and Cooperstown on Tap are just a month away and we've got the list of brews and ciders all lined up and ready for you to sample on Main Street. Cooperstown's historic Main Street will shut down for the day on October 10 to feature family friendly activities, games, and vendors during the day with "Main Street Cooptoberfest" organized by the Cooperstown Chamber

OWL 2K Kids' Glow Run has been moved to a new location due to all of the snow.

The Fenimore Quilt Club and the Cooperstown Art Association proudly present the Cooperstown Quilt Show 2015 Viewer's Choice Award.  The CAA estimates that despite inclement weather and difficult access to the building, well over 1,000 quilt lovers attended this year’s show and helped raise over one thousand dollars for the Cooperstown Food Pantry.
