Bassett Gets 2 Awards From AMA

The American Heart Association gives Bassett Medical Center two awards for the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment. Bassett earned the Stroke Gold Plus Achievement Award by reaching a goal of treating patients with 85 percent or higher compliance to core standard levels of care for two consecutive calendar years. Bassett also received the association’s Target: StrokeSM Elite Plus Honor Roll Award. for reducing the time between the patient’s arrival at the hospital and treatment for stroke.
