The numbers are in from the Baseball Hall of Fame induction weekend and according to the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce the area economic impact over the three day period was around $25 million. The Hall reports 53,000 people attended Sunday’s induction ceremony making it the second-largest in history only trailing the 2007 induction of Tony Gwynn and Cal Ripken, Jr. In four of the last five seasons, at least 48,000 fans have attended the Induction Ceremony.
