Adoptions Are Up at Susquehanna SPCA

While many businesses are seeing fewer customers because of the coronavirus outbreak the Susquehanna SPCA reports adoptions have been on the rise over the last month. Executive Director Stacie Haynes says there’s been a more than 10 percent increase in adoptions in 2020 and 30 percent more fostering. Haynes says the shelter is well prepared to stay clean with six months worth of supplies on hand. Donations are very much welcomed especially since staff reductions were recently required.
