A Snake on Main Street? Sure, Why Not!

We are used to seeing all kinds of people and things along Oneonta's Main Street.  On any given day you will find all shapes and sizes of people strolling and shopping the stores.  Dogs of all kinds can make the sidewalks seem like our own virtual Westminster Kennel Club Show.  Older folks on benches, younger folks on bikes and skateboards.  People with purple hair.  College kids wearing their school colors.  Yes, downtown can be a very interesting place if you look around.

So meet "Serenity the Snake."  I met her (him?) sunning in his owner's arms in front of Wise Guys Sammy's restaurant at Ford and Main on Friday afternoon.  Serenity wasn't shy for the camera, either.

So, a snake on Main Street?  I say why not!  You just never know, do you...
