63-Year Old East Meredith Man Arrested on Drug Charges

On March 24, 2019 Delaware County Sheriff Deputies arrested Alan Brown age 63 of East Meredith for Criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree a Class A Misdemeanor and Promoting Prison Contraband 1st degree a Class D Felony. It is alleged that while being processed into the Delaware County Correctional Facility on unrelated charges Brown was in possession of a controlled substance identified as Cocaine. Brown was arranged in the Town of Delhi Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000.00 cash bail. Brown is to reappear in the Town of Delhi Court at a later date.
