2019 Susquehanna Balloon Fest Coming Labor Day Weekend

On Friday August 30, the skies over Oneonta will come alive with beautiful and colorful hot air balloons as Neahwa Park, Oneonta plays host to the 11th Annual Susquehanna Balloon Festival.

The free event kicks off on Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. with live music, balloon launches (weather permitting), food vendors, inflatables, family activities, and more. Here's the Friday schedule:

5:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Becca Frame & the Tall Boys

5:00 PM - 8:00 PM - BJ the Clown

5:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Mike the Juggler

6:00 PM - Balloon Launch (Weather Permitting)

7:15 PM - 9:15 PM - Roundhouse Rockers

Entry to the event is free but there is a fee for inflatables, food and activities at the event. The action continues Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with the following schedule:

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Evvergreen

3:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Mike the Juggler

3:30 PM - 5:30 PM - Utica Zoomobile

4:00 PM - Magic Show with Magician Jim Okey

5:00 PM - 8:00 PM - BJ the Clown

5:15 PM - 7:15 PM - Hanzolo
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Animal Adventure Zoo To You
6:00 PM - Balloon Launch (Weather Permitting)
6:00 PM - Jim Okey Magic Show
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM - Hop City Hellcats
8:15 PM - Balloon Glow (Weather Permitting)

Balloon launches are weather permitting and balloon launches are subject to schedule changes to accommodate the weather. Also balloons may not inflate or fly if weather conditions are not ideal. Please keep in mind that sometimes, due to impending weather, wind, or other conditions, balloons will launch early, late or not at all. Please plan to arrive roughly 30 minutes or more prior to the scheduled launch time to ensure you see the balloon inflate and rise.
