Thousands Without Power After Wednesday Afternoon Storms

Thousands of NYSEG customers in Chenango, Delaware and Otsego County are without power after powerful storms swept through the area Wednesday afternoon.

There were more than 14,000 without power in the state, according to NYSEG numbers updated at 6 p.m.

Delaware County was mostly spared with only 354 losing power. Chenango County has 1,572 people without power, while Otsego County has 2,110 without power.
