The 18th annual Parade of Lights on Saturday evening in downtown Norwich, brought thousands to the city to kick off the holiday season.

Despite frigid temperatures and snow there were no complaints by observers, 63 separate groups illuminated the streets, with nine fire trucks and 24 floats competing to be the greatest light show.

New this year was a group of around 150 marchers from nbt bank representing the five states with NBT branches. Over 130 NBT marchers held electric candles and Santa hats representing each branch of the bank.
