Seven New Oneonta Police Department Officers are set to take their oath on Monday, March 22 beginning at 10:00 AM during a swearing in ceremony. The six men and one woman will be sworn in by Mayor Gary Herzig in an open-air ceremony at Neahwa Park that will be streamed live for viewing on the Oneonta Police Department Facebook page and is open to the general public.

According to AllOTSEGO, the seven officers taking the oath are: Michael Angellotti, Christian Cooper, Bryce Kohout, Michael Pedulla, Carson Pochkar, Thomas Steinberg and Karolina Stypulkowski and will all train for six months at Broome County Police Academy.
