One Arrested, Another Sought In Delhi Catalytic Converter Theft

A Delaware County man is facing felony charges for stealing automotive catalytic converters. According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, 40-year-old David Alleyne of Delhi stole the converters from a Delhi business in early September and in doing so, Alleyne damaged the exhaust systems on two vehicles. Alleyne was booked then released on his own recognizance. A second suspect identified as 21-year-old Sean Gillespie, formerly of Bovina, is also wanted in this theft.
