Incident at Norwich High Results in Serious Injury

An incident last week near Norwich High School resulted in head injuries to a Norwich man.

Officials say 20-year-old Andrew Graham of Norwich intervened in a dispute between a 15-year-old and another individual and allegedly was struck by the 15-year-old youth, causing him to fall and strike his head against the pavement.

Graham was airlifted to UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City for treatment of a serious head injury. The 15-year-old youth was charged with second-degree assault and will appear in family court at a later date.
