Delaware County Sheriff's Deputies arrested two area men Thursday following a lengthy investigation of a Town of Hamden seasonal home burglary. On July 11, 2015, members of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office commenced an investigation of a burglary at a seasonal residence and garage located on Basin Clove Road in the Town of Hamden that occurred between early May and mid-July of that year. The home owner reported numerous items stolen from the residence and garage. Following the investigation which led to the recovery of a number of the stolen items, Deputies charged 38 year old Henry Stellato, III, and 31 year old David Thompson with Burglary in the Second Degree, Burglary in the Third Degree, two counts of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. Stellato and Thompson, who are currently incarcerated in the Delaware County Correctional Facility on unrelated charges, are scheduled to be arraigned in the Town of Hamden Court on later date.
