Volunteers from the Mohawk Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross provided immediate emergency aid to a single resident after a fire Tuesday at a two-story structure on County Highway 33 in Cooperstown. The Red Cross provided financial assistance for food, clothing and seasonal garments to one adult affected by the fire. In the coming days, Red Cross staff and volunteers will remain available to help the resident navigate the road to recovery.
