This Saturday, May 10th, bring your kids to the Huntington Memorial Library on Chestnut Street in Oneonta for a fun, family learning event called GPM Rain EnGAUGE, from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

This event will celebrate the launch of NASA’s Global Precipitation Measurement mission and families can learn about the science behind measuring precipitation from space, as well as what it means for us on the ground. There will be hands-on activities, door prizes and an opportunity to create an edible satellite or rain gauge. Plus, word has it that Miss Raindrop is going to make an appearance.

This is a free program but registration is required. Call the Huntington Library at 432-1980 or stop in to register.
