Each year the Catskill Symphony Orchestra asks business leaders to help raise funds to benefit the orchestra by participating in its "Guest Conductor's Competition".

This year, Townsquare Media Market Manager George Wells is one of the contestants. Wells will be performing during the live Cabaret Show on March 3. The orchestra is accepting donations at its website for Wells and any of the other contestants.

All proceeds from the concert and the fundraising efforts go directly to the Catskill Symphony Orchestra.

We are thrilled to present our famous group of guest artists who will present an all-Irish program. The concert will also include two of Johann Strauss Jr.’s most well-known works, the wonderfully melodic “Tales from the Vienna Woods” and the “Emperor Waltzes.” As always, this is the “Maestro-Madness” concert, our major fund-raiser of the year!! Guest conductors this year are: Mike Lynch, 4th Ward Council Member, Jim Maloney, Captain, city of Oneonta Fire Department, and George Wells, Market Manager, Townsquare Media.
