Today is National Letter Writing Day. Do You Still Do This?

Today is National Letter Writing Day.  Does anybody actually still sit down and hand write a letter to a family member or friend anymore?

It seems that we still do communicate with each other by by far different means than we used to .  Today we live in a world of cell phones, texts, emails and other sophisticated ways to talk to each other.

But does anybody still sit down at a desk, pull out a crisp clean piece of white paper, pick up your favorite pen and actually hand write a letter?  Probably not too many.

Now, cards are a different thing.  I do still get some Christmas cards, wedding and birth announcements with handwriting on them and even birthday cards.  But I can't tell you the last time I sent or received a long handwritten personal letter.
