A boil water advisory has been put into effect for Colonie and Latham.

A huge geyser erupted from a broken water main that flooded part of a town of Union neighborhood and resulted in an icy mess on nearby streets and sidewalks.

All Johnson City residents and businesses are being urged to conserve water while repairs are being made to a major main.

Last night the City of Oneonta was busy with snow removal and a water main break on Hazel Street.
