New York Governor Kathy Hochul is putting speeding drivers on notice after announcing that repeat offenders across the state could soon be forced to install a device that physically prevents them from speeding.
Dutchess County lawmakers have voted in support of a proposed New York State law that would ban law enforcement agents, including those with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, from wearing masks while on duty.
Drivers who sustain damage to their vehicles or persons while driving on New York State roads could have the damages paid for by the state if a new bill is passed.
