The New York State Farm Labor Wage Board recommends the overtime threshold for farm workers be dropped from 60 to 40 hours a week.

New York Farm Bureau, the state’s largest general farm advocacy organization, has named 96 state legislators to its 2012 “Circle of Friends" award. The award is an indication of the individual lawmaker’s support of New York agriculture and the farm bureau.
