The Duprees were one of the most sucessful white doo-wop singing groups of the early 1960s. Their origins were from the street corners of Jersey City, New Jersey.  They eventually scored more than 40 Billboard chart hits.  The Duprees continue to tour extensively and last year celebrated their fiftieth anniversary of performing concerts...

One of the clasic doo-wop groups that came out of Brooklyn, New York in the 1950s.  "Once in a While" was their only #1 hit, but the group continues to tour the "oldies circuit" even today.  And you know what...they still sound great!
