boat launch

New York State is extending the deadline to buy discounted season admission passes to State Parks, Historic Sites, Recreational Trails, Beaches and Boat Launches.

I do not own a boat.  Never really wanted one really. I have spent a lot of time watching people launch boats into rivers or lakes.  Especially at Lakefront Park in Cooperstown.  It is a real art.  I watch the guys back up to the water's edge, gingerly and with their wives shouting directions at them all the while...
