“Sweet” Elena Doyle Dies at 71. Confectionery Queen was an Oneonta Culinary Icon!

Elena Doyle, an Oneonta culinary icon for decades, has died.  She was 71.

Elena operated her own confectionery store, Elena's Sweet Indulgence, for 25 years in Oneonta.  She was a master in the kitchen and thousands of locals have enjoyed her delicious servings over the years.  She was also a well-known caterer.

Elena, you will be missed by all of us in the "City of the Hills."
