Futons, rugs, clothing, appliances, electronics and other items will be distributed to Oneonta charities and community members next week during SUNY Oneonta’s annual Move-Out Donation & Reuse Program. As students move out, the college placed special donation dumpsters near the 15 halls to collect gently used items that students no longer wanted. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, the items will be dispersed to area nonprofit organizations and members of the community at the St. James Church in Oneonta. The program is coordinated by the college’s Office of Sustainability and the Move-Out Committee.
