SUNY Oneonta Celebrates Division III Athletics

SUNY Oneonta Athletics is celebrating Division III Week April 7th through the 13th.

The week is part of Division III's Identity Initiative, which was introduced in 2010 to sharpen the division's identity and to enable schools and conferences to more effectively explain why they prefer to compete in Division III.

On Monday, from 10am-1pm, student athletes and coaches will be giving out bracelets and schedules as a kick-off to the week.

Tuesday's events include a CareerAthletes.com seminar from 4-5pm in the skybox of the field house.

Wednesday evening, the student athletes will host a faculty appreciation dinner in Morris Hall from 5:30-7pm.

On Thursday, 16 student athletes will be inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society.

SUNY Oneonta will end the week with two volunteer activities, one on Friday at The Lord's Table, and the second at the Southside Mall on Saturday, as they once again participate in CANstruction.
