SUNY Delhi is marking 50 years of offering vocational education in areas from plumbing and carpentry to refrigeration and automotive mechanics along with cooking and secretarial skills. The college initiated the vocation training to complement the college’s technical programs and courses varied in length from 24 weeks to a year. Many of SUNY Delhi’s vocational courses developed into associate’s or bachelor’s degrees and form the foundation of the School of Applied Technologies and the School of Business and Hospitality Management.
