This fall SUNY Cobleskill will offer a bachelor’s degree program in dog training and handling. The college is expanding its existing canine curriculum into a dedicated program where students must complete 120 credits in classes like “Canine Aggression” and “Therapy Dog Teams,” in addition to fulfilling liberal arts requirements. New York state predicts the field of animal care and training will continue to grow through the next decade.
