Stabbing Incident In Oneonta Leads To Arrest

The City of Oneonta Police Department arrested a 20 year old Mohegan Lake man for 2nd degree assault, a Class D felony and the Class A misdemeanor of 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon. Nabill Maiyaki was charged following an investigation into a stabbing that occurred at about 01:00 a.m. on March 5th. The investigation revealed that Maiyaki allegedly stabbed another person multiple times during a physical altercation on Elm St in the City of Oneonta. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non life threatening injuries and released.
