Sheriffs Arrest Bainbridge Man Who Was Wanted in PA

A Town of Bainbridge resident is in custody on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Pennsylvania. The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies responded Sunday to a one car crash on State Highway 41 in the Town of Smithville and a check of the driver identified as 20-year-old Benjamin Bivar found he was wanted in Lackawanna County on unspecified criminal charges. Bivar was booked into the Chenango County Correctional Facility without bail pending extradition.
