Sheriff’s Arrest 17-Year Old for Violating Protection Order

A 17-year-old is facing charges for violating an order of protection in the town of Franklin. According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office the teenager went to a location on May 26 where the suspect knew the protected person would be at. Sheriff’s deputies apprehended the teenager last Friday, June 5, and booked him for criminal contempt then issued a Juvenile Appearance ticket directing him to appear at the Delaware County Probation Department on a later date.
