State Senator James L. Seward was at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown on Monday and announced a $100,000 state grant is awarded to assist the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce with capital improvements at Higgins Cottage which is the chamber’s visitors’ center. The grant comes from the state’s Economic Development Assistance Program administered by the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York. After the announcement Seward gave a presentation to Chamber members recapping legislative accomplishments during the year then held a question and answer session.
