
School Districts to Provide Free Feminine Hygiene Products in Restrooms

The Cuomo administration issued a reminder to schools that feminine hygiene products need to be made available in restrooms for grades six through 12. The requirement went into effect on July 1 as part of the governor’s Women’s Opportunity Agenda. Public school districts, in consultation with their school nurse or medical director, must determine the types of products to make available to students.
