Richmondville Man Torches Own Car; Faces Felony Charge

A Richmondville man is facing a felony charge for intentionally setting fire to his own car. Police say they and fire crews responded to a vehicle fire call on Sunday at an Albany County location and an investigation determined the fire was an arson. Firefighters spotted the car’s registered owner identified as William C. Sossei IV hiding in bushes near the fire scene and he was apprehended a short time later. .
