Sheriff’s officials say Planty is a level two sex offender who had been registered as living in the Town of Walton.

Authorities say, after leaving that address, he failed to notify the Sheriff’s office of the change within the required ten days.

Planty has two prior sex offense convictions in two separate states, each of which require him to register with Law Enforcement as a Sex Offender.

Authorities say he has already previously failed to register as a sex offender which pushed the latest charge to felony level.

Planty was sent to the Delaware County Jail on $1,500 bail.
