Reduce Waste: Learn What To Do With Leftover Food at Cooperstown Conference
The New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse, and Recycling is hosting their annual Annual Recycling Conference November 4 through 6 at the Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown. As part of the conference, there will be a workshop showing how to reduce wasted food in homes through preservation and creativity. The ReCook Café Community Event takes place November 4 from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and is open to the public. Otesaga Executive Chef Jim Perillo, will demonstrate how he uses miscellaneous pre-consumer leftovers to create tasty dishes. Light refreshments will be served.
