Police have ruled the bomb threat at SUNY Delhi to be a hoax Tuesday.

At approximately 9:15 a.m. SUNY Delhi University Police and Delaware County 911 received calls indicating that a bomb had been placed in the Evenden Tower on the SUNY Delhi campus and was set to explode in 45 minutes.

Officials immediately instituted its Emergency Management Plan and evacuated the building and contacted local authorities, according to a release by the college.

Police conducted a sweep of the building and all classes scheduled for Evenden Tower have been canceled for Tuesday.

The State Police Canine Unit was brought in to inspect the building.
