Oneonta WW II Veterans Being Sought For Project

Are you an Oneonta native who served in the military in WW II or do you know an Oneontan who did? The OHS Military Veterans Legacy Project aims to identify Oneonta veterans who served in order to honor them.

Your help is needed to identify over 2100 Oneonta veterans who served in WWII and who were probably also Oneonta High School alumni. A website has been set up for this project for people to name such individuals, what year they graduated and or the branch of their service and rank. You may be able to identify a relative, past neighbor or someone else you recall who was an Oneonta vet.
