An Oneonta man gets five years’ probation in his plea deal to Social Security fraud. According the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York, Jason Wentworth pleaded guilty to stealing Social Security survivors benefits and for making false statements to the Social Security Administration that enabled Wentworth to obtain those benefits.

He is also required to make more than $52,000 in restitution.
