Oneonta Historical Society to Present ‘Oneonta During The Great War’

On Nov. 12 at noon, in observance of Veterans Day, the Greater Oneonta Historical Society will present a program by member Robert Calandresa. The program is titled "Oneonta During The Great War".

In addition to background on World War I, there will be brief biographies of local citizens and the roles they played in leading the community effort to support the war.

Calandresa says that everyone attending will receive their very own peach pit, but the reason why will not be revealed in advance.
