Oneonta Filmmaker Seeks Local Citizens To Share Community Concerns
With the November 3 general election right around the corner, concerns over issues like infrastructure, healthcare, racial and other discrimination issues, public safety, education, the economy and more are on the minds of many. With that in mind, this Saturday, October 17, Oneonta Documentary filmmaker Joseph C. Stillman and producer Jeri Wachter will be at Muller Plaza in Downtown Oneonta filming interviews with area residents on the issues that concern them. If you would like to participate and be interviewed on camera, come to the plaza between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm and please wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
Stillman says, "As critical decisions are being made about resources, equity, health care and public safety, it is more important than ever that fellow community members and policymakers hear the stories and experiences of folks who are often overlooked. Oneonta is a microcosm of small cities across rural America. Civil discourse and the issues that unite us are the topics we hope to learn about through your participation."
