Oneonta Eagle Scout Project Benefits Area Outdoor Enthusiasts
Hey outdoor enthusiasts or aspiring ones...A.O. Fox Hospital just announced the opening of a new outdoor fitness trail that was created at the FoxCare Center in Oneonta by local boy scout Lincoln Waffle as part of his Eagle Scout project. Waffle did have some assistance along the way with support from Boy Scout Troup 3 and local businesses which donated supplies: Curtis Lumber, Seward Land and Gravel, Hannaford Supermarkets, The Home Depot, Colonial Ridge Golf Course, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Munson’s Building Supply, Prolifiq Sign Studio, The Village Printer, Pickett Building Supply, The New Asbury Gardens, Smith Productions, A.O. Fox Hospital employees, and others.
The partly wooded loop is a quarter-mile long with exercise stations and a picnic area. It is open to the public. You can access it from the northwest corner of the FoxCare Center parking lot at 1 FoxCare Drive, just off Route 7, Oneonta.
