Oneida County, NY (WIBX) - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is working with the Drug Enforcement Administration to keep expired and unused prescription drugs out of the wrong hands.

This Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the Sheriff's Field Offices in Waterville and Camden will host "Take Back" events. People may anonymously drop off pills free of charge at either office.

Officials with the program say more than 550,000 pounds of prescription drugs were turned in during the last national event, held in April.

To turn in unwanted prescriptions, go to the sites below:

Camden Field Office- 30 Fayette St.
