NYSP Conducts Sobriety Checks in Otsego County

New York State Police conducted a sobriety patrol checkpoint last Friday on State Highway 7 in the town of Unadilla. 110 vehicles passed through the checkpoint resulting in 13 vehicle and traffic violations. There were also 5 arrests for drug possession and 1 arrest for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation. The Unadilla checkpoint was one of several conducted by State Police to crack down on impaired driving and underage drinking over the Halloween weekend.
