NYS Police Superintendent Issues Statement On Riots
New York State Police Superintendent Keith Corlett issued a statement about the statewide protests following the death of George Floyd in Minnesota and the arrest of a police officer in his death. The statement said in part “the majority of law enforcement are people who want to make a difference and care for those in the community they serve. That was not displayed by a select few last week. However, It is our job to uphold the law.”
