NY State Budget Passes

Free college tuition, an increase in the age for charging juveniles as adults and preservation of millionaire tax rates are just part of the $153.1 billion budget passed by lawmakers.

According to Governor Cuomo’s office the budget will increase education aid by over a billion dollars and includes a middle class tax cut that will result in a savings of $250 next year increasing to $700 once fully implemented.

Ride sharing services like Uber and Lyft will also be allowed to operate stated-wide.
