Nominations are now being sought for the 11th Annual Woman Trailblazer Award Presented by the Oneonta City Commission on Community Relations and Human Rights. In honor of Women’s History month, this award recognizes a woman in the Oneonta Area who, by demonstrating outstanding achievement in her field or in the community, has enhanced the visibility and stature of women. A Trailblazer is defined as one who has opened the pathways for others to follow: a pioneer; a forerunner; a trail breaker; a mover and shaker.

The award will be presented prior to a March Common Council Meeting, City Hall, Oneonta, New York. A reception will precede the common Council meeting in the City Hall Lobby.
