New Opioid Epidemic Bills Passed By Senate
The New York State Senate passed a number of bills to continue the battle against opioids and heroin. State Senator James Seward is a member of the joint task force on heroin and opioid addiction and says the new measures are part of a comprehensive strategy that will enhance ongoing drug enforcement efforts. The state assembly will now consider the bills and for them to become law the measure need to be passed before the end of the legislative session on June 21.
