New NYS Water Quality Rapid Response

Governor Cuomo Thursday announced the creation of a statewide water quality rapid response team to address contamination problems like those that left the Rensallelaer County Village of Hoosick falls without drinkable water, The team will be coordinating the response to water emergencies,establishing a clean drinking water program that addresses regulated and unregulated contaminates in public and private water systems, and present that plan to the Governor.
